Cow is Antarctica's greatest anomaly.  He crashed through the roof of a local supermarket one day when Slush and Carl were complaining about the price of milk.  This discovery gave Slush high hopes of starting his own milk business.  What fell through the roof was a bull--a male cow--a concept that no penguin in Antarctica has yet to grasp.  So, Slush's plans fell through the roof when he discovered that his newfound "pet" has no udders.  And, though he was forced into a rock band and almost branded with the band name (The Brown Cows), Cow became another part of Slush's close circle of friends.

 

     Cow has a very sarcastic personality, probably fostered by the fact that he cannot be heard by any other character, a major benefit to speaking in thought bubbles instead of the speech variety.  He has found his own place as a commentator on the "bird-brained" actions of the species he finds himself amongst.  Though one might think that his inability to speak would hinder his capability to get along with Slush, who provides him with food and shelter, the two live in a perfectly symbiotic relationship.  Slush provides the entertainment and Cow provides the eye rolls, occassionally adding to the mischief when it seems absolutely necessary.
