I drew this comic to add a bit of flavor to a newspaper-style book report during my Sophomore year in High School.  Since I had read H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds for the report, I decided to theme the strip accordingly.  Slush is actually holding the book in panel one as a little hint towards my intentions if the martians didn't already give it away.
